Daniel serves with Chosen People Ministries. He brings a fresh and exciting perspective on the Scriptures from his Jewish heritage.
As a Messianic Jew, Daniel Nessim is the son of Jewish parents who also believe in Yeshua. His mother is a survivor of the Holocaust who was hidden in Berlin throughout the War. His father was from a Jewish family from Baghdad and Cairo. A few years after his arrival in England in the 1950s, Daniel’s father became the first in his family to believe Yeshua is the Messiah.
Daniel left a career in engineering and has worked with Chosen People Ministries since 1998, first in Seattle and then in London. While in England, the Nessims established a branch of Chosen People Ministries and planted a Messianic Jewish congregation in the heart of a Jewish neighborhood. He is again serving in Washington State and Vancouver, B.C. as well as leading Kehillath Tsion, Vancouver’s first Messianic Jewish Congregation. Daniel is passionately committed to seeing other Jewish people come to accept the Messiahship of Yeshua.
Daniel has written two books: The Gospel Through Jewish Eyes, on witnessing to Jewish people, and a prayer book for Jewish believers in Yeshua. Daniel and his wife, Deborah, who is also a Jewish believer in Yeshua, have three children and live in Snohomish, Washington.
