Ceremonial throwing of sins into the water
Tashlich is a time to symbolically cast our sins "into the depths of the sea". Stones are used to represent our sins. As we toss our stones into the water, we are reminded that our sins have been forgiven (Micah 7:19).
We will walk from Beit Tikvah to Lake Boren for a short ceremony on the dock (approx. 10 min. walk).
Lunch oneg will follow the Tashlich ceremony.
Lunch suggestions: soups, salad, sandwiches, or dishes that don’t need to be heated.
