"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise. His greatness no one can fathom. One generation will commend your works to another. They will tell of your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty." Psalm 145:3-5a
"But desire fulfilled is a tree of life." Proverbs 13:12
By the time I reached 27 years of age, my marriage was bad and I was determined to make it work. Then one late October night, I was walking along a road with no sidewalks and little lighting. It was dark and I had dark clothing on. I heard a car approaching behind me, so I edged over as far as I could away from the road. There was only about a foot or so of ground there and then a deep ditch. However, there was a small light post about ten feet above where I stood. Suddenly I was I hit by the car and I landed in a ditch, in almost two feet of water, below the street level. I watched the car that hit me drive away. I wouldn't look at my legs because I thought they were gone. I began to feel the blood rush down from my head. I cried out "God, I'm too young to die."
Theresa Jensen will share her testimony with us at the Women's Summer Gathering on June 24th. Her testimony is especially for those who have children, siblings or friends that have yet to commit their lives to the Lord. Theresa says her testimony is really God's testimony of who He is. She will share her amazing journey from rejecting God to embracing Him.
Theresa and Dave Jensen were baptized on Resurrection Sunday in 1990, three years after they were married. They began attending Beit Tikvah in 2008 after their first trip to Israel, where God showed them His heart for Israel and the Jewish people.
