Midrash is based on Leviticus 19 which is a miscellany of standards that God outlines for practical holiness in our everyday living. Emphasis was on verse 2 which says to be holy as God is holy. Verse 14 is a warning on how to treat the blind and deaf. Verse 32 is on the required treatment of the gray haired (senior citizen).
