Our God is a social God who not only loves people, but wants to be with and among them. Sukkot is a picture of several things at once: As a harvest celebration it is praising Adonai for his abundant provision, and also is a picture of the harvest of believers. The dwelling in booths (tabernacles) is picture of our Messiah's return when he will tabernacle (dwell) among us, as His Emanuel name means: God is with us! The Sukkot celebration is a prophetic picture of the Wedding Supper of the Lamb when we celebrate entering eternity with our beloved Bridegroom! All are great reasons to celebrate!
