When is it right to put your hand to the plow? From the story of Samuel and Saul

Samuel had to put his hand to the plow and not look back at Saul. God had plans for another king; another type of king. Saul was head and shoulders taller than his brethren. David was the youngest son of Jesse, and probably the shortest. God said, “How long will you grieve over Saul?” It’s time to move on.
