At sundown tonight we begin the Biblical festival of Yom Teruah, the Day of Blowing, the Feast of Trumpets. It’s also called Rosh Hashana, the Head of the Year, or the New Year, because of its significance in regard to the Fall Festivals, which move us from anticipation, to reflection, to repentance, to rejoicing. Yeshua promised He would return. He said, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again.” He’s coming back, and will appear a second time to those who eagerly await Him.
