What shall we put off for the New Year?

As we prepare for the new year, we set resolutions or goals we want to attain sometime in the next twelve months. That’s nice, but most of us don’t follow through. In fact, we often set the same goals year after year, until we forget about them. We shrug our shoulders and realize they just won’t happen. We don’t need more resolutions. We need more revelations. I’d like to suggest something new. Instead of focusing on the new things we want to accomplish, let’s take a serious look at our lives and discover what we need to change in order to be the person God wants us to be in 2019. When the old goes, it makes room for the new.
