You’ve heard the expression: do something for 28 days and it becomes a habit. That’s partially how we break bad habits and create new ones. Or put another way: starve something, and it dies. Fasting not only breaks your appetite for foods you shouldn’t eat, it can break your appetite for sin that binds and controls you. When you finish a fast, you feel like you can do anything. Apply the same principle to areas of your life that need change.
