We don’t like to mourn. But without the mourning, the grieving, there is no comfort! Do you see it? Comfort only makes sense when we’re grieving? Without grief, we don’t need comfort. But if we mourn, we will experience the comfort of God, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted. Our comfort is abundant through Messiah. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
