Yesterday, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. What does this mean for us? After 49 years, 5 months and 2 days, and roughly 63 million lives lost to abortion, Roe v. Wade has finally been overturned. This is reason to rejoice. Some people say politics should be kept out of the pulpit. This isn’t about politics. It’s about life and death. God knows us from our mother’s womb (Psalm 139), and He says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jeremiah 1). God hates the shedding of innocent blood. And who is more innocent than the delicate child forming in the womb? This is not so much a prolife message, but a call to action, a call to prayer, and a time to rejoice.
