Repertoire Rundown

Our repertoire playlist can be found on SpotifyYouTube, or at the bottom of this page. Song descriptions below.
  1. VeggieTales Theme Song: No explanation needed.
  2. The Lord is Come (Bob Fitts): This song and the next flow together, and are two of the three "choir" pieces; Mr. Daniel, David, Jonathan, and Ziva will be the backing band. Your younger kids are joining for this!
  3. The Lord Our God is With Us (Bob Fitts): See above.
  4. Morning (Clare Fischer, version by Sergio Mendes): A Latin jazz standard; students are mostly singing for this with some percussion; Mr. Daniel, David, Jonathan, and Ziva are the band again. Note there are TWO versions of this song on the playlist; our version is most like Sergio Mendes' in structure, but the original Clare Fischer version has a better vibe.
  5. Unity/Monody Mashup (The Fat Rat): An electro-synth piece; total beginner students may not be playing this depending on how it goes. The playlist version is just the midi readout of the arrangement file.
  6. Dear Friends (FFV/Nobuo Uematsu): This is a beautiful piece that I'm asking some adults to help us out with (guitar, flute and strings). We may also skip it if needed.
  7. Ave Verum Corpus (Mozart): I'll be (hopefully) working on this choral piece with some more advanced singers who are not in this class currently. I'm also hoping to have strings come and play with us.
  8. ---we may have a few other pieces in here performed by kids who aren't able to attend class this semester but would still like to participate
  9. I Will Magnify (Bob Fitts): This is from the same album as the 2nd and 3rd songs; we'll have the same backing band and everyone else (including little sibs) will be singing! This is a two-choir call-and-response piece so if you're a parent interested in helping with that, please let me know.
